Welcome to Grace-on-the-Hill

To find out more about Grace-on-the-Hill and to apply follow this link!

Grace-on-the-Hill is a ministry of St. Andrew’s Church in partnership with the Diocese of Virginia that invites young adults in their twenties to engage their Christian faith through a 10 month period of service, vocational discernment, and leadership formation.

Corps members will live together in community while sharing in the social, relational, economic and ecological regeneration of the neighborhood and the wider community through active engagement in the neighborhood and internship placements in area non-profit organizations and churches.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2017-2018 year.  You can find our application at the Episcopal Service Corps website. For questions, you may email Paris Ball.

To learn more about the program, take a look at this video about the 2014-2015 Residents and this article from the Richmond Times Dispatch. For a bit of insight into the origins of this program, check out Abbott Bailey's (the rector at St. Andrew's Church and previous co-program director) sermon on January 27, 2013.

For an intro to the Oregon Hill neighborhood, the neighborhood where the program is located, check out our page here.  For more info about Richmond, VA, check out visitrichmondva.com or richmond.com

Located along the James River, Oregon Hill residents were not at all surprised that Richmond was named the 2012 Best River Town by Outside Magazine!
